A new annexe has been completed in the Staffordshire area. At 10m wide this annexe has plenty of room for 3 separate rooms, Lounge, kitchen diner and bedroom with ensuite. At its maximum the building is 6m deep this is where the bedroom is and that extra metre allows for the ensuite, the rest of the annexe is at 5m in depth.

Bright and Airy

This annexe has 2 entrances to the front, french double doors lead into the living area, and an extra standard door to the kitchen. The doors have a taller structure than a standard window, this lets in a great deal of light into the rooms. The customer chose to have a pitched ceiling in the annexe, if you are having a pitched roof, there really is no reason why you shouldn’t have a pitched ceiling, as it creates such an open and spacious feeling.

Cottage Feel

This annexe is now a home, and it definitely gives that feel from its appearance. The white render to the exterior is given injections of colour from the golden oak windows. Dark Forticrete Centurion grey tiles to the roof give a strong contrast from the walls adding a bit of style. The interior really feels like a home, with a large living room, kitchen and bedroom. There is plenty of space to move around and it has all the necessary creature comforts.

All the Essentials

Our granny annexes are fully finished and decorated so when we are finished you can simply move in. Granny Annexe not only build the water-tight structure and foundations but also fit a fully functioning bathroom and a good-sized kitchen.

One of the Warmest Buildings Around

Granny Annexe uses Structurally Insulated Panels (SIPs) to construct annexes and garden rooms. All Granny Annexe SIPs are manufactured individually for your annexe at our Bedfordshire production facility.

Granny Annexe SIPs have a great insulation rating, falling well within UK Government limits. Our U-values are within the upper limits, contributing towards the energy efficiency of the building.
