Granny Annexe
Year
2014
The family chose to have one double bedroom annexe, with a large bathroom, storage cupboards, spacious kitchen, dining room and a lounge area. The Granny Annexe had a large raised decking area and a ramp, which is perfect for sitting out on during those sunny afternoons. Two Velux sky lights were added to the kitchen and the bathroom, letting in all-important natural light to these rooms and also potentially saving on electricity costs.
The 66m2, L-shaped Granny Annexe was rendered and clad in magnolia fire retardant render with Light Golden Oak PVCu doors and windows, giving it a traditional cottage appearance. The quotation price also included removal of tree stumps and ground works in the garden, as well as concrete pad foundations and the installation of all electrics, armoured cable and plumbing.
