This recently finished Crewe Granny Annexe is another one of our smaller builds. With a size of 7.00m in width 4.00m in depth, with an external area of 28m2. The annexe although being smaller still has a bedroom big enough for a double bed, and a bathroom with shower, toilet and vanity unit.

This Crewe Granny Annexe is placed in the garden just behind the family home. The pressure treated steps lead up into largest room of the annexe being the kitchen lounge.

The doors and windows to the annexe is finished in the popular light golden oak colour, and to the interior the windows and doors are finished in white. This annexe is slightly adjusted from our standard single annexe, adding 0.5m onto the depth and removing a meter from the width. even though the build is technically smaller it is still spacious and open. We have more bespoke annexes designed to fit customer requirements featured in our brochure.

All of our standard annexes include the kitchen/lounge, bedroom and bathroom, some bigger annexes can include more rooms. The kitchen/lounge space for this building comes in at 12.70m2. This provides enough space for a small sofa, coffee table, as well as the space for the kitchen work surface all with extra space to move around.

The bedroom of the annexe is 6.26m2 this can easily hold a double bed, again with space to fit a bedside table and other niceties. The bathroom which is an ensuite to the bedroom, is 4.20m2 the bathroom houses a shower, toilet and vanity unit.

The family only went to the 3rd quote for their Granny Annexe, this allows us to get the planning application in sooner, and therefore the build underway. The annexe itself, was put together in just over a month. This is achievable due to the use of SIPs panels these make up the walls of the annexe. The panels have a great insulation rating, which will attribute to lower heating bills.

As standard with the Granny Annexes, laminate flooring, electrics and plumbing are fitted.
