This Newport Granny Annexe is just over the severn bridge and tucked into the beautiful Welsh countryside. The annexe sits just beside the main house making a lovely addition to the family home. The family went to build after a few amendments from our initial quote speeding up the process.

This Newport Granny Annexe is placed just beside the house, looking out onto their garden. The decking steps at the front lead to a small patio area where the families elderly father can relax in the garden.

The front door and windows for the annexe are finished in light golden oak to the exterior and white for the interior. This build is the same size as our single annexe but with a few added extras for example the Velux style windows in the roof, and the brick quoin accents on the outside of the build. In our brochure we also have a selection of custom built annexes, designed to fit the customers requirements.

Like most annexes, this one includes the kitchen/lounge area, bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen/lounge space has an internal size of 11.93m2 enough space for a couple of armchairs, a table, and the kitchen worktop with room around it all to get around the annexe.

The bedroom, of the annexe has a single bed and some space for a few other items i.e cupboards and drawers. This room has an internal size of 7.77m2 and an attached ensuite bathroom, with a size of 3.22m2. The bathroom includes a shower, toilet and vanity unit.

The build was put together in just over a month and the family told us “overall experience was easy, the team were exceptional”. From the start date of the build we aim to have the builds finished within 4-5 weeks for the single annexes, for larger builds 5-6.

Our buildings can be put together quickly due to the use of SIPs panels, which make up the walls of our annexes, these panels have very low U-Values which will attribute to cheaper heating bills.

As standard with the Granny Annexes, laminate flooring, electrics and plumbing are fitted.
